I have been schooled. I was inadvertently hurting my credit score and all this time I thought I was giving it a brreather and doing the exact opposite. This is why I like reading articles regarding this topic. So much learning to go thru

All these years of unawareness in how to properly manage my credit score had lead to a lot of headaches now. I for one had a couple of misconceptions with this and I'm glad that I now know what to do to save my credit score. I would open numerous credit cards with the notion that it would add up to my credit score but alas! now it did the opposite.

I have done about half of these things - self inflicted wounds are the worst! Educating ourselves is always the best option. This is an example of a great resource or reading material to further educate ourselves on the do's and don't of building credit score. Great job Nina, hope to read more articles you wrote.
